Alright Trance friends, let’s skip the long speech and get straight to the good stuff. Uplifting Trance Sessions EP. 808 is here, and this week I have another fresh selection of trance ready for you. New melodies, strong vocals, driving energy, two world premieres on State Control Records, your Trance Family Track of the Week, and plenty of moments that made me turn the volume up while preparing the show.
When The Music Makes Me Turn It Up

Melody, Space, Vocals And Drive
When I build a new episode of Uplifting Trance Sessions, I am not looking for tracks that simply sound polished. I want something that catches me. A melody that stays in my head. A breakdown that creates space. A vocal that feels real. A bassline that suddenly changes the whole mood of the mix. EP. 808 has a lot of those moments, and the result feels bright, energetic, melodic, and alive from beginning to end.
Stoneface & Terminal – In Your Arms
The episode starts with Stoneface & Terminal – In Your Arms on FSOE. For me, this is exactly the kind of opening track that can pull you into a session without trying too hard. Stoneface & Terminal have been part of the trance scene for many years, and their sound has always carried a strong combination of melody, atmosphere, and club energy. “In Your Arms” opens the show with warmth and a clear emotional pull, but there is still enough power underneath to keep the episode moving forward.

There is something I really love about tracks that feel open and spacious without losing their drive. They give the listener room to breathe while the rhythm keeps moving.
Reborn Sound System, Mart Craig & Deep Impuls – Fighting Force
One of the biggest moments in EP. 808 is the first State Control Records world premiere. Reborn Sound System, Mart Craig & Deep Impuls – Fighting Force brings a stronger, more energetic edge into the show. World premieres always mean a lot to me because I can share brand-new music directly with the Trance Family before the track has fully reached the rest of the world.
The Music Has To Earn Its Spot
As the artist with releases on State Control Records, I am proud every time one of our tracks takes its place inside the show naturally. It should never feel forced. The music has to earn its spot. “Fighting Force” does exactly that with a strong drive, clear energy, and a sound made for the bigger moments of a trance set.
Starburst And I Rise Through The Storm
Matt Robertson – Starburst on Monster Force keeps the pressure moving before Gerlach Gerrit & Thomas Nikki – I Rise Through the Storm on AVA White adds another title that feels made for trance. I have always liked the way this genre can turn struggle into energy. Tracks like this carry a sense of movement and determination, and that emotional connection is one of the reasons trance still means so much to me.
John O’Callaghan – The First Sip
Then comes John O’Callaghan – The First Sip on Subculture. John O’Callaghan is one of those artists whose name immediately raises expectations, especially among uplifting trance fans. His productions usually have real weight behind them, and “The First Sip” adds a strong Subculture touch to the episode. It is focused, direct, and powerful without losing the musical side.
Nico Hartt, K.O.V.I. Project And Daniel Cesana
The energy continues with Nico Hartt – Jenova on Rated Records and K.O.V.I. Project & Kamil Misiak – Feel That Way on Suanda True. This part of the show keeps the pace high but still leaves enough room for melody. Then Daniel Cesana – New Heights on Ablazing does exactly what the title suggests. It pushes the episode upward and brings another burst of uplifting energy.
Bart Claessen – Playmo (Sneijder Remix)
One of the late highlights is Bart Claessen – Playmo in the Sneijder Remix on A State Of Trance. “Playmo” is a name that many longtime trance listeners will recognize, and Sneijder brings his own harder, sharper edge to the track. I love moments like this because they connect different eras of trance without sounding like nostalgia for the sake of nostalgia. The remix gives the track fresh pressure and a modern club feel.

The final track is another State Control Records world premiere: STNX & BANKBURN – Reformasi. I wanted the ending of EP. 808 to feel strong, direct, and memorable, and this track gives the show exactly that. It has drive, character, and enough weight to close the episode with real impact.

For me, Uplifting Trance Sessions EP. 808 has a great balance between emotional trance, vocal moments, melodic lift, harder edges, established names, fresh artists, and brand-new music. It does not stay in one place for too long. The sound keeps moving, the mood keeps changing, and the energy continues to build until the final track.
